Vintage Polo Shirt
A soft butter-yellow wash fades from a deeper tone at the hem to almost white at the collar, so this vintage polo shirt looks broken in on day one. We print the fade instead of dyeing the fabric, which means every shirt in the order matches. Golf clubs order these vintage golf polos for member events, and brands with a story use them for merchandise. Single piece minimum, unlimited colors, no setup fees.
Why Teams Choose This Polo
-
Full-shirt coverage: The vintage wash pattern prints across front body, back body, sleeves and collar. Not limited to a chest logo like embroidery.
-
Your colors, not ours: Send any Pantone or HEX code and we match the heritage wash to your brand palette. Confirmed on your mockup before production.
-
Single piece minimum: Order 1 polo as a sample or 500 for the whole crew. Orders of more than 20 pieces get a better price per piece.
-
Permanent print: Sublimation ink bonds into the polyester fibers, so it will not crack, fade or peel through 100+ washes.
-
Left chest kept clear: A washed finish looks owned rather than issued, so people wear it off duty, and the pattern opens up on the left chest so your logo stays readable.
-
Free digital mockup: Review your design on the polo within 24 hours before production starts. Unlimited free revisions until approved.
-
Remake-it-free guarantee: If the delivered polo does not match the approved mockup, we remake it at no cost.
Fabric and Construction
This polo uses a 92% polyester with 8% spandex performance blend, 4-way stretch, in three fabric weights: 150 GSM mesh (light and breathable), 170 GSM (our standard all-rounder) and 230 GSM (heavier, with a smarter look). The fabric is moisture-wicking, wrinkle-resistant and colorfast. Sublimation requires polyester fibers because the ink converts from solid to gas under heat and bonds permanently with the material, which is why cotton polos cannot support all-over print.
Every polo is printed to order. The vintage wash artwork is loaded onto sublimation transfer paper, heat-pressed onto the polyester fabric panels at approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit, then sewn into your polo, then inspected before packaging.

How to Order
Ordering is a 3-step process from artwork to production start:
-
Send your logo and colors. Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) work best for scaling, but a high-resolution PNG or JPG at 300 DPI also works. We prepare the file for sublimation at no charge. Tell us your brand palette and we match the heritage wash to it.
-
Approve the free digital mockup within 24 hours of placing the order. The mockup shows exactly how the vintage wash pattern and your logo appear on the polo across front, back, sleeves and collar. Revisions are free and unlimited.
-
Production and delivery start the next business day after approval. Total timeline is 12 to 18 business days worldwide from approval to your door.
For teams wanting a classic embroidered chest logo instead of full-shirt sublimation, see our custom embroidered polo shirts collection (MOQ 20 per design).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum order?
One piece. Every AOP polo is printed edge to edge and sewn to order, so you can order a single piece, and orders of more than 20 pieces get a better price per piece.
Can I change the heritage wash colors?
Yes. Send your Pantone or HEX codes and we match the vintage wash pattern to your brand palette as closely as available stock allows. The match is confirmed on your free mockup before anything goes into production.
Where does my logo go?
The left chest. The vintage wash pattern is designed to open up in that area so a logo, badge or crest stays readable against it. Send any file format and our team prepares it at no charge.
What design formats do you accept?
We prefer vector formats (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) for the sharpest result, but a high-resolution PNG or JPG at 300 DPI also works well. Our design team optimizes the file for sublimation printing at no extra cost.
Can I see the polo before production?
Yes. Every order includes a free high-resolution digital mockup showing the pattern and your logo on the polo across front, back, sleeves and collar. We send it within 24 hours of order placement. Revisions are free and unlimited until you approve.
How does sublimation compare to embroidery?
Sublimation prints across the entire polo with unlimited colors, a permanent bond into the fabric fibers and a single-piece minimum. Embroidery stitches a logo onto the chest area with limited colors, MOQ 20 per design, but works on cotton. Different processes, different use cases.
How long does delivery take?
12 to 18 business days worldwide from mockup approval. That covers production, quality inspection and shipping. For a hard deadline, email support@forteraapparel.com before ordering.
What if the polo does not match my approved mockup?
We remake the order at no cost. Our remake-it-free guarantee covers print misalignment, color mismatch and size defects. Every polo is individually inspected before packaging, but if something slips through we make it right.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Fortera ships worldwide via tracked delivery. Standard transit adds 3 to 7 business days after production completes.
